Drow Ranks

 

 

Ilharess (Matron)  - Normally a cleric with a very close relationship with Lloth.  Her word is law and all are obliged to follow.   

C'rintri - Close family to the Illharess.  Mostly made up of her daughters and sons.  Though those she considers worthy of her family name may hold this title.  

Illharn (Patron) - The male consort of the Illharess.  He tends ot be the flavor of the week though it isn't rare to see a Matron take favor and keep one for extended periods of time.  He ranks highest among the males though still underneath most of the noble females of the house.

Qu'el'veldruk (House Masters) - They break down as follows
           
             Yathtallar (High Priestess) - Within the house only.  Normally the First born     daughter.  The High Priestess serves as the Matron’s advisor in all matters religious.
                
            Qu’el’Faruk (House Mage) - This is the highest position a male can strive for within the House and it bears great influence to all the Matron's decisions on arcane matters.
             
           Qu’el’Velguk (House Assassin) - The Head Assassin’s purpose is complicated. They are for all intents and purposes, inconspicuous eliminators of all things that threaten the affairs of their House. but they are so much more as well. The traits of this station typically employed are stealth and the ability to remain unseen.
                
            Qu’el’saruk (Weapon Master) -The House Weapon Master is the Matron Mother's favored champion and her personal bodyguard. Should her honor or that of the House ever be brought into question he will be called on to defend it. He serves as the adviser of the Matron Mother in all things involving military tactics. Furthermore he is in charge of training all Warriors. During times of city-scale war, a skilled House Weapon Master’s position and influence can rival that of the Matron Mother’s.

Yathrin - Members of the house that have pledged their loyalty to the Matron Mother.


Qu'abban - All who enter Quel'llar d'Eilystlar hold this title.  They are guests and as such will be treated until they pledge their loyalty to the Illharess.
