The Infirmary
The Infirmary is a guild for Clerics, Paladins, and Shamans. We are an IC guild but you are not required to ICly be a member. The purpose of being a part of the group is for training, leveling and communication between members. If you would like to join the guild in Character please meet with the Guild Leader and formally ask to join!
A Divine Caster is all about their connection with their source. This path relies on this relationship. The cleric or paladin is granted power from their deity- channeling that power into a smite against their enemies or easing the pain of an ally. Likewise, Shamans rely upon their connection to their Ancestors and the spirit world to guide their communities and safeguard them against the outside world.
Divine Casters are, primarily, clergy of their communities. In this function they heal and cast defensive and offensive magics springing from their Divine source.
Current Lead: dracowykana
Classes/Paths and Spells
Each class gets their power from one source of magic or another. If you know your path, fantastic! If not choose a source you think would fit best with your character. Next to each path is the spell source they will use.
Celrics - Divine/Gods:
Clerics are conduits of gods whether light or dark. Their jobs are not limited to only healing. Holy and unholy alike offer up prayers and other spiritual rituals. They also provide protection over those around them.
Clerics are versatile figures, both capable in combat and skilled in the use of divine magic. Clerics are powerful healers due to the large number of healing and curative magics available to them. With divinely-granted abilities over life or death, they are also able to repel or control undead creatures. Whether the cleric repels or controls undead is dependent on the cleric's alignment

Paladins - Divine/Gods:

A Paladin can be light or dark, is a skilled healer and protector of those in need. Through the use of blessings or curses the paladin projects their deity's will through their actions.

Shamans - Spiritual/Spirits OR Elemental/Natural
A Shaman is traditionally a member of certain tribal societies who acts as a medium between the visible world and an invisible spirit world and who practices magic or sorcery for purposes of healing. Often they use bones, stones, or crystals to focus those spirits for the use of healing.
Shamans work their will upon non-sentient spirits - spirits who retain vague memory and emotion only. They can draw upon 'light' spirits, 'dark' spirits or spirits of nature and the world around them. They are able to enter the spirit world and use magic to see spirits in the world around them.
Shamans traditionally run in families and come from tribal cultures only. Occasionally an individual from a different culture or bloodline may be chosen, but this is uncommon and they must then be trained in Shamanic tradition and powers. Shamans must, by tradition, instruct one another and eliminate those few who try to make pacts with demonic forces.
