Elves
Overlooking Thyra's Grotto is the forgotten kingdom of Calen'Eryn. Overgrown with ivy and flowers, it was once a place of great knowledge and beauty. No lore has been found of the first elven settlers, who built the city, or the goddess who watched over them. The only remnants of what was once a grand city are ripped works of art, harps with broken strings, and fine pottery now cracked and yellowed with age. It seemed as though everything beautiful or creative had been destroyed with intent.
Only the name remains, spoken in hushed tones by the sacred order in secret. As the new settlers have begun to repair the buildings and bring back beauty and life to the halls, what once was lost is now becoming reality once more. Music can be heard, the smell of wine being made and herbs being harvested for sale among the races. Calen'Eryn is reborn and who knows what other mysteries of this beautiful kingdom might be uncovered in time.

Culture
Lovers of all things finely crafted, elves have always been artistically inclined. So to paint, craft weapons, and form works of art with their hands is something natural for them. Drawn to all things natural, elves tend to know their way around herbs as well. Lastly, they are seekers of knowledge and academics for the most part, loving to learn new languages and lore.
Language
Elves call one another "Cousin" - this is a general term acknowledging the kinship between them. If elves are emotionally close or actually related they might call one another "Sister" or "Brother.
"Vedui" is the most common Elven greeting- It's basically just "Hello". But if you say "Hello" you will sound like a human- so use this one instead. We also say "Safe paths" or "Namaarie" for "goodbye"
