Elven Law

In the name of the Tari of Calen'Eryn, the following laws, guidelines and rules are set forth for all citizens:

Calen'Eryn will serve as a haven for all beings of peace and goodwill, regardless of race or creed.

Those who wish to inhabit the city may do so, provided they present themselves to the Tari or her designated representative, the Minya en Calen'Eryn, for acceptance and pledge their loyalty to the city.

The city is currently neutral in regard to any dispute or conflict among the various kingdoms of Cirra'Liel.  As such, its citizens are expected not to intervene in external political matters without the prior consent or directive of the Council or the Tari.

All citizens are called upon to respect one another, using common sense in all matters of dispute or doubt.

Fighting in the streets is strictly prohibited to all citizens for the sake of order and unity.

All issues or grievances among the citizens are to be brought before the Minya en Calen'Eryn for initial review and judgment.  The Minya has sole discretion on the question of whether a dispute should be presented to the council of the city.  However, a citizen may appeal any judgment to the ruler by requesting such of the Minya.

Violators of these laws or of the peace of the city, will be brought before the Council for judgment, which will be at the sole discretion of the leaders of Calen'Eryn. All offenses shall be submitted to the Minya for initial review, and may be referred to the full Council at her discretion.  All penalties must be determined by the Council, overseen by the Tari.
